Item Amount
Potatoes 450 gram
Dried Rosemary 1 sachet
Golden Delicious Apple 1
Breadcrumbs 10 gram
Pork Mince 240 gram
Mature Cheddar Cheese 30 gram
Sliced Burger Buns 2
Wild Rocket 20 gram
Balsamic Glaze 12 millilitre
Apple and Sage Jelly 25 gram
Salt 1/4 teaspoon

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200C/200C fan/gas mark 7.

Step 2

Chop the potatoes into 2cm wide wedges (don't peel). Place the wedges into a large baking tray. Drizzle with oil, sprinkle the dried rosemary over the top, and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat, then spread out in a single layer. When the oven is hot roast on the top shelf until golden for around 25 - 35 minutes, turning halfway through.

Step 3

Whilst the wedges are cooking, halve, core, and grate the apple (don't peel). In a large bowl, combine the apple, breadcrumbs, salt, and pork mince. Season with pepper and mix together with your hands. Press and roll the mixture into even-sized 1cm thick burgers. One for each person.

Step 4

Put the burgers onto a baking tray and bake on the middle shelf of your oven until cooked through. This typically takes around 15 minutes.

Step 5

Meanwhile, grate the cheddar cheese. Once cooked, carefully place the cheese on top of the burgers and place them back into the oven until the cheese has melted. This may take up to 3 minutes. You can also warm the burger buns at the same time in the oven.

Step 6

Before serving, add the rocket to a medium bowl. Drizzle with balsamic glaze, then toss to evenly coat.

Step 7

Spread apple and sage jelly over the bun bases, top with the cheesy burgers, and enjoy!
